Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes, sugar (if using), lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove any pulp.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour to chill.
  5. Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  6. Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
