A simple and delicious teriyaki-glazed salmon recipe that’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. The sweet and savory glaze pairs perfectly with the tender salmon.

- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then whisk into the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet and brush generously with the teriyaki glaze.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven, brush with more glaze, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- For crispier skin, sear salmon skin-side down in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes before baking.
- Leftover glaze can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
