Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak bites and sear until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  7. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  8. Return steak bites to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley.
