- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites and sear until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well.
- Simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Use a tender cut of steak for best results.
- Adjust creaminess by adding more or less heavy cream.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
