  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Topping:
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • Strawberry jam or glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined. Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Assemble the Tart: Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the filling.
  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the filling to set.
  5. Serve: Before serving, brush the strawberries with a thin layer of strawberry jam or glaze for added shine, if desired. Remove the tart from the pan and slice to serve.

Notes

  • For a richer crust, use digestive biscuits instead of graham crackers.
