- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until browned.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce until thickened.
- Serve the chicken over rice, topped with broccoli, carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.

- Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
- Adjust honey and sugar to control sweetness.
- Swap chicken for tofu for a vegetarian version.
