- 1 loaf of crusty baguette or ciabatta, sliced
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the sliced bread on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Toast the bread in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, basil, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
- Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- On a large serving board or platter, arrange the toasted bread slices.
- Spoon the tomato and mozzarella mixture generously over each slice of bread.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
