- 1 pound large mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, olive oil, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
