A delicious and refreshing dessert that combines a sweet strawberry jello layer with a creamy filling and a crunchy pretzel crust.

- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 6 oz strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.
- In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In another bowl, dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Add sliced strawberries to the dissolved jello and mix well.
- Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- You can use frozen strawberries if fresh ones are not available; just thaw and drain before using.
- For a more intense flavor, consider adding some fresh lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture.
