Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup queso cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add steak slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.
  4. Add rice, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the rice.
  5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in queso cheese and cooked steak. Cook until heated through.
