- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust for spice)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens (2-3 minutes).
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with dried parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes.
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
