Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring it is well coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- For the fries, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and golden, flipping halfway through.
