Instructions
- In a pan, melt butter and stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
- Mix in shredded chicken, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese.
- Cool the mixture, then shape into small cylinders.
- Dip each croquette in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

- Let the mixture cool completely before shaping.
- For extra crispiness, double-coat with breadcrumbs.
