- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the sourdough starter, flour, milk, and sugar until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the sourdough mixture and mix until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or yogurt.
