Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Add tortellini and stir to combine.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes until tortellini is tender.
  8. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen tortellini.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For a thicker sauce, reduce the broth.
