Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Return chicken to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use dry white wine for best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
