Description

A juicy sirloin steak topped with a rich garlic Dijon cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 sirloin steaks (8 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove steaks and let rest.
  5. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
  6. Stir in Dijon mustard and heavy cream.
  7. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  8. Pour sauce over steaks and serve.
