- 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined and shells removed
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
- 1 pound small potatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 2 lemons, halved
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water for boiling
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the Old Bay seasoning, lemon halves, and garlic.
- Add the potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes or until they are tender.
- Add the sausage and corn to the pot and continue to boil for another 5 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the pot and serve the shrimp boil on a large platter, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- Feel free to add other seafood like crab or clams for variety.
- Adjust the amount of Old Bay seasoning based on your spice preference.
