- 200g seafood mix (shrimp, squid, fish balls)
- 2 cups of fresh kerupuk (crackers), soaked in warm water
- 3 tablespoons of chili paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the chili paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the seafood mix and cook until they are just cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Mix in the soaked kerupuk, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir well until everything is combined and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili paste.
- Feel free to use your favorite seafood or even add vegetables for variety.
- For a more aesthetic look, arrange the seafood and kerupuk artistically on the plate.
