Instructions

  2. Mix flour, chilled butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolk to form dough.
  3. Press dough into tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt granulated sugar in a pan until golden.
  5. Slowly whisk in heavy cream, then add softened butter and salt.
  6. Pour caramel into baked crust and chill for 2 hours.
