Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the caramel layer.
  9. Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with sea salt before cutting into squares.
