- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- Sea salt for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the caramel layer.
- Drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with sea salt before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For best results, let the brownies cool completely before cutting.
