- 4 pieces salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons dill (fresh or dried)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Place them skin-side down in the skillet.
- Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, dill, and lemon juice. Stir until combined and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra dill if desired.
