Ingredients

  • 200g pasta
  • 200g sausage, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  4. Pour in the cream and stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can use any type of sausage you prefer.
  • Add a pinch of chili flakes for a spicy kick.
  • For a lighter version, replace the cream with Greek yogurt.
