- 200g pasta
- 200g sausage, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
- Add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Pour in the cream and stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can use any type of sausage you prefer.
- Add a pinch of chili flakes for a spicy kick.
- For a lighter version, replace the cream with Greek yogurt.
