- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or gouda)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
- Add chicken, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until chicken is browned.
- Layer sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then spread the chicken mixture on top.
- Pour heavy cream evenly over the layers.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- You can add vegetables like carrots or peas for more texture.
