Description

Sticky pineapple teriyaki chicken wings made in just 3 easy steps. Perfect for a quick and flavorful appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange chicken wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
  3. Toss baked wings in the teriyaki sauce. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh pineapple juice for best flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • For crispier wings, broil for the last 2 minutes.
