- 1 kg chicken wings
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange chicken wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Toss baked wings in the teriyaki sauce. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pineapple juice for best flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For crispier wings, broil for the last 2 minutes.
