- 6 cups fresh peaches
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- as needed vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Toss to coat evenly.
- Transfer the peach mixture to a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Spread the oat mixture evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Notes
- Feel free to add a pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor.
- You can substitute frozen peaches if fresh ones are not available, just ensure to thaw and drain excess moisture.
