Ingredients

  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. In a large trifle dish or individual cups, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of half of the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
  4. Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, mixed berries, and whipped cream.
  6. Top with additional berries and a sprig of mint for garnish.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • You can substitute the pound cake with angel food cake or sponge cake for a lighter option.
