- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a large trifle dish or individual cups, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Add a layer of half of the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, mixed berries, and whipped cream.
- Top with additional berries and a sprig of mint for garnish.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- You can substitute the pound cake with angel food cake or sponge cake for a lighter option.
- Feel free to add a layer of vanilla pudding between the layers for extra creaminess.
