Crispy and delicious French fries made effortlessly in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips for fries.
- Soak the potato strips in water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings until well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the seasoned potato strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy fries, soak the potatoes longer or use a higher temperature.
- Feel free to experiment with different seasonings based on your taste preferences.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for best results.
