Description

Crispy pan-fried chicken dumplings with a juicy filling and golden-brown crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 30 dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water (for steaming)

Instructions

  1. Mix chicken, cabbage, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place 1 tbsp filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Fold and seal edges with water.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Place dumplings in pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until bottoms are golden.
  6. Add water, cover, and steam for 5 minutes.
  7. Uncover and cook for another 2 minutes to crisp.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • Wrap tightly to prevent leaks.
  • Use high heat for crispiness.
  • Freeze uncooked dumplings for later use.
