Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken and sausage, cook until browned (5-6 minutes).
  3. Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in Cajun seasoning and pasta.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve hot.
