- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and sausage, cook until browned (5-6 minutes).
- Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning and pasta.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
- Add extra broth if pasta needs more liquid.
