Ingredients

- 2 cups Water or milk
- 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup Fresh fruits (banana, berries, etc.)
- 1/4 cup Nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, etc.)
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- a pinch Salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- Add rolled oats and a pinch of salt to the boiling liquid.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup and cinnamon.
- Top the oatmeal with fresh fruits and nuts or seeds before serving.
Notes
- You can customize your oatmeal with different toppings like yogurt, coconut flakes, or nut butter.
- For creamier oatmeal, use milk instead of water.
