Instructions

- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk, until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
