Description

These refreshing Melon Prosciutto Skewers with Mint are the perfect appetizer for any summer gathering. Sweet melon pairs beautifully with salty prosciutto, and fresh mint adds a bright touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cantaloupe, diced into cubes
  • 1 honeydew melon, diced into cubes
  • 8 ounces prosciutto, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Prepare the melons by cutting them into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Cut the prosciutto slices into halves or quarters, depending on the size of your skewers.
  3. On each skewer, thread a piece of melon, followed by a piece of prosciutto, and then a mint leaf. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at the bottom for handling.
  4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Feel free to mix and match different types of melon for variety.
  • For a touch of sweetness, you can also drizzle honey over the skewers before serving.
  • These skewers can be made ahead of time; just store them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
