- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita bread rounds
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken thighs with the marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Grill or pan-fry chicken until fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes per side.
- Slice chicken into thin strips.
- Combine yogurt, feta, lemon juice, and grated cucumber to make tzatziki.
- Warm pita bread briefly.
- Fill pita with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and drizzle with tzatziki.
