- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan, sauté garlic.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
- Add Parmesan cheese and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Slice cooked chicken and add back to the pan.
- Mix in tortellini and cook until heated through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for stronger flavor.
- Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
