- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well and let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
