- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, oregano, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
