Lobster Tail Recipe Air Fryer: Perfectly Cooked in 10 Minutes

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

This air fryer lobster tail recipe yields perfectly cooked lobster tails that are juicy, tender, and full of flavor in just minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fins.
  3. Gently pull apart the shell and expose the lobster meat. You can lift the meat slightly out of the shell for a better presentation.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  6. Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, meat side up, and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
  7. Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the air fryer and brush with any remaining garlic butter.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary based on the size of the lobster tails. Larger tails may require additional cooking time.
  • Do not overcook the lobster, as it can become tough and rubbery.
