  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

This Lemon Herb Grilled Swordfish is a deliciously light and flavorful dish, perfect for summer grilling. The marinade combines fresh herbs and zesty lemon to enhance the natural flavors of the swordfish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 swordfish steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 lemons (juiced and zested)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place swordfish steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the swordfish from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the swordfish for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a light salad for a complete meal.
  • Swordfish can be substituted with tuna or salmon if preferred.
