Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tikka masala spice mix
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (400g) tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, tikka masala spice mix, lemon juice, and ginger-garlic paste for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  3. Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions until golden.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in marinated chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish, cover, and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes.
  8. Serve hot with rice or naan.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding chili powder if needed.
  • For extra flavor, grill the marinated chicken before baking.
  • Use fresh yogurt for best results.
