Ingredients

- 500g chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cucumber, grated
- 200g Greek yogurt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Cook chicken in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
- For the tzatziki sauce, mix grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and dill in a bowl.
- Warm pita breads in a dry pan for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble gyros by placing chicken on pita bread and topping with tzatziki sauce.
Notes
- Let the chicken marinate for best flavor.
- Squeeze excess water from grated cucumber for thicker sauce.
- Serve with fresh vegetables if desired.
