Description
A classic Key Lime Pie with a creamy, tangy filling and a buttery graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Lime slices and additional zest for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, lime zest, and salt until smooth and well blended.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until set but still slightly jiggly in the center. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

- Garnish with lime slices and additional zest. Slice and enjoy your Key Lime Pie!
Notes
