Crispy and delicious kale chips made easily in the air fryer for a healthy snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch of kale, washed and dried
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the tough stems from the kale and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the kale with olive oil, sea salt, and any optional seasonings until evenly coated.
- Place the kale in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry the kale for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the leaves are crispy but not burnt.
- Remove the kale chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, try experimenting with different seasonings such as paprika or chili powder.
- Make sure the kale is completely dry before adding oil to ensure maximum crispiness.
