- 2 steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
Instructions
- Season steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir until thickened.
- Add fresh thyme and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Serve steaks with the creamy garlic sauce.
