- 1 cup salsa verde
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix salsa verde, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper, lime juice, and cilantro.
- Coat chicken breasts evenly with the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Use fresh salsa verde for best results.
- If grilling isn’t an option, bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
