Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
- 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)

- Salt for rimming the glasses
- Lime wedges and watermelon slices for garnish
Instructions

- Strain the watermelon mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp.
- Add the lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and agave syrup (if using) to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Rim the glasses with salt by running a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it into a plate of salt.
- Fill the glasses with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice.
- Garnish with lime wedges and watermelon slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño to your spice preference.
- For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with ice until smooth.
