- 12 fresh jalapeno peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the wrapped jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add cooked sausage or spices to the cheese mixture.
- Make sure to wear gloves when handling jalapenos to avoid irritation.
