Description

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the wrapped jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
