Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C).
- In a medium oven-safe dish, combine the peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, thyme, and peppercorns.
- Make sure the garlic is fully submerged in the oil. If needed, add more oil to cover the cloves completely.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil or a lid.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and let it cook for about 2 hours, or until the garlic is soft and golden brown.
- Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly before transferring the garlic confit and oil into a clean jar.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
