  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pita bread or rice, for serving
  • Toppings: sliced cucumber, tomato, onion, tahini sauce, or yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Stir in the cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook the beef mixture until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
