Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cabbage (shredded)
- 1 medium carrot (shredded)
- 1/4 cup coriander (chopped)
- 1 lime (cut into wedges for serving)
- 8 tortillas (corn or flour)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (for lime crema)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them in the marinade. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the cabbage slaw by combining cabbage, shredded carrot, and chopped coriander in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Grill the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
- In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with lime juice and a pinch of salt to create the lime crema.
- To assemble, warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds each side. Place a piece of grilled fish on each tortilla, top with cabbage slaw, and drizzle with lime crema.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños to the slaw.
- Feel free to substitute the fish with shrimp or grilled chicken.
