- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 2 slices of whole grain bread
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken from pan and slice thinly.
- Layer avocado slices and shredded cheese on one slice of bread.
- Add sliced chicken on top.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Grill the sandwich in a pan or sandwich press until cheese melts and bread is golden brown.
- Serve warm.
